I got a call from this number 229 518 6462 i think it is from a prank call user account. I think its a default main number for a prank caller company. I did not answer the phone when they called i have trap call on my phone and then it revealed the number above.

Did the same thing. Been getting 15-20 calls a day from UNKNOWN. Trapcall shows it as 229-518-6462 Blocked it

That's the problem. It comes through as UNKNOWN.

This is Legit... Call from FedEx. I had a package missing and put a tracker on it. They called back.

I also got TrapCall App because I keep getting unknown calls. Call showed up 229-518-6462. Also says they are using Skype, so some kind of skip service.

The number 229-518-6462 is assigned by TrapCall when you receive a call that was unable to be unmasked. This can happen if the call is being routed through the internet, such as a web based phone or VOIP service, or wifi calling. Unfortunately, these calls don't have a caller ID and can't be unmasked.TrapCall recommends adding (229) 518 - 6462 to your TrapCall blacklist. Anytime a call cannot be unmasked, and this number is identified, the caller will hear "the number you have dialed has been disconnected, or is no longer in service". This may either direct the caller to call back with a blocked caller ID from a different phone, which will more than likely be unmasked, or discourage them from continuing to call.

i also have trapcall and the issue with this number is it is a blanket number assigned by their company it states it on a few different platforms. it is assigned to viop skype or google callers that cant be unmasked. if you look at you online phone bill from whatever company you use you can get the actual number.

Called up to 70 times a day for 3 weeks. Trap call was the only way to block the calls.
