They called me on 4/20/10 at 5:34pm. I answered and said "Hello" twice and they hung up. Nothing was ever said.

They called every 10 minutes this evening on my finance's cell phone. I finally answered. After 10-15 seconds of silence and saying HELLO?? every few seconds I got a man named David. I explained to him that he had called an unlisted cell phone that is registered on the do not call list and that we do not accept solicitation calls. He said he was from mountain research and that it was not a solicitation call. I said I don't care, we are on the do not call list. I demanded to know the name and direct telephone number of his supervisor. He said he could not give out that information. I then asked to the mailing address of the call center he was calling from and he would not give out that information either. I told him to take our number off his list, and that if they called back my next phone call would be to the district attorney in Ludington Michigan to file harassment charges.With that he apologized and said our number would be taken off their list. So far no more calls have come in from that number

this is the company called Mountain West Research Center.it's website is www.mwrcenter.comthey do not fall under the "do not call national registry" as explained under it's websiteunder the Link "why did we contact you" in the right side of the website, it explains everything and how to be placed on the list to be excluded from future research related calls. if you simply ask to not be a part of the research, you will only be excluded from That study, and will be called for future surveys and for each person in your household.good luck.(by the way, there are phone numbers listed for employment if you are interrested in being a part of the problem...)

This person calls and when I say they are in violation of the DO not call list they say SO?

You people are idiots and just don't get it. If you call people all you are going to do is make them ANGRY and they either won't answer the phone or if they do answer the phone or even answer your stupid survey who wants to give you anything that is true and correct or they will just waste YOUR time - IF YOUR COMPANY IS SO GREAT WHY DO YOU HAVE TO SPOOF PHONE #'S AND HAVE INDIANSNAMED "HEIDI PERRY" DO YOUR DIRTY WORK? WE ARE IN THE PROCESSof having people form class action lawsuits against this sort of harassment.IN OTHER WORDS BUGGER OFF!!!!

When I get calls fom survey takers, the first thing I do is ask them for their credit card number. I tell them we are professional survey takers and charge $68.95 to take a survey. That shocks them into silence then I inform them they have to pay up since they asked me to take the survey and that is a legal binding contract. They usually tell me people take their surveys for free after which I ask them do you work for free? I procede to tell them I have invested time and money for classes and licences to be a professional survey taker and have been doing so for 6 years, so give me your cerdit card number. I never hear from them again.

we live in san jose,ca either we are on the don't call list , also my parents keep getting phone calls from some place called research center, its a land line phone, with caller id, it seems like theirs no end to these spam like phone calls but we don't have it keep it up, I guess that what best to do in this case, we also get those potitical calls , besides these spam ones, and a few area codes which like one started with 000 and a few numbers like right after itI am not sure if I should put down the research center under potitical call or spam caller , also they keep calling around diner time too, anywhere between 5pm to at least 8 pm at night, almost never in the mornings but I think their been a few times then too, again this is my parrents home which seems to get all these types of calls with the caller id system, not cell phones, I am puting it under unknown since I don't really no who is behind all these potitical calls and the few spam like calls we seem to get here in san jose, ca
