Got the call and answered knowing it was a scam. Turns out it was the Windows "you have a virus" scam.Played along with them for a few minutes and I kept telling them that I had a virus. Ultimately, the Indian fellow just hung up on me in frustration.Fun with telemarketers - have blocked their future calls
Wife got a call saying the were from windowstechservices and they got an error report that we have downloaded malware... I asked if they were microsift and admitted they weren't. They tried to sound all official by giving my wife's e-mail address and an i[ address her computer was on... 192.168.1.224 Problem is i'm in IT and that is not a valid IP adress on my network... not to mention he couldn't have my lan address he didn't know our public IP adress... i think thwy use 192.168 adresses because it sounds familar to non techs.... DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO AND HANG UP
