Recently received this call on my cell phone. The usual, couple of rings, pickup "Hello" no response then a click after a couple of secconds. Read a couple of the forums then decided to call back. Oddly though I got a business phone system saying I recently received a phone call from SQM Group with a survey for a some big corperation I'd recently had a support call with. For more information go to sqmgroup.com The website is real and supposedly is what they claim. All I ended up with however was a dial tone. . .
Funny how Bell is the only entity to have my new cell phone number, on my new pay-as-you-go Samsung Gio, cell phone, and these idiots call me to burn up my minutes (nice strategy Bell)- I would love it if Bell Canada would get a life and make due with me using my minutes, as I choose, since I paid for them.
they are a company who does "customer satisfaction" surveys. I changed some things on my cell phone account and they called me within minutes to do a survey on the service I received. If you listen to the call they give you the option of never being contacted again.
Hey Jason, why don't you and the "SQM GROUP" put all of our phone numbers on the do not call list.......here's how you do that - STOP CALLING ALL OF US..........simple eh? get it ?? Get a real job where you don't make a living by bothering people. Volunteer at the local animal shelter ? The food bank ? The cancer clinic ? getting the bigger picture here Jason ?
- these scum bag idiots called this afternoon at 1:45pm.... ( EST ) ...called and hung up , no message left........no ideaIDIOTS !
wow, there is a discussion topic on this :)Got two calls, one yesterday, one today, both at around 3:30pm in Vancouver, Canada. Both times when I picked up there was no reply from whoever was calling and about 2 seconds later they hung up.OK, I get it, marketing research company. Fine. But why do they hang up? You wanna research, then why don't you say something?? :)
I got an automated message saying it was from Fido. i dont have an account with Fido anymore. In fact I was with them for three years and left last march. This is when I started to get false calls on my answering machine. This is a scam and I believe that someone who has worked at fido has stolen account information and is trying to get money from Fido customers.
