receive a call from this number (as shown on caller ID - just shows number and Vernon. Cannot call it back - doesn't ring. Get calls from this number every day for last few days. When you pick up ther is no one there. Phone company suggests you pick up and hit *57. will try this next time.

I also just received a call from this line and after some searching found the same details exposed here. I happen to be a platinum Telus mobile customer (in other words I spend too much money with them :D) so I called Telus to let them know about the issue. Because it is a land line and not a mobile, the person I spoke to was unable to confirm that something would be done or block them from calling me, but she said she took excellent and detailed notes and hopefully this person/entity will be prevented from this sort of harrassment in the future.

Just received a call from them. The call was Canadian Tire Master Card. I had called them yesterday about a charge dispute and they were calling to see if I was satisfied. no big deal
