I've received numerous calls from this number over the past week and have missed all the calls and no messages have been left. When I called the number back I've gotten a recording saying that I was receiving the call because I had reportedly received "phishing" e-mails and calls asking for personal information. There was no additional information. I've avoided answering since then.
I received a call from this number and when I answered, the person hung up. I called the number back and received a recording that stated this was Jennifer Leach from the Federal Trade Commison and I was receiving this call because I receive an email that someone trying to obtain my financial information from a company I do business with. She wanted to warn me that this trick and needed to go to onguardonline.gov. If this is a government agency, I should be able to speak with someone directly and not receive a recording. I believe this is a scam. Please beware.
These people continue to call several times a day. They claim they are from microsoft and we have a virus in our computers. I have ask three times for them to stop calling. They just call right back. Please stop this for me.

I get calls from this number several times a day on my cell (which i give out to very few people AND my home number. Same dialog as listed in other posts-middle eastern sounding voice, noise in the background, computer issues, etc. I tell him every time to stop calling, yet I still get the calls. What is this scam?
Now when you call the number back there is a recording stating that it is a phishing scam and to get more info about phishing, it gives you a .gov address to go to.
Wow, tried calling the number back and a governmental fraud message comes on warning you this is a scam! How is it they are aware of this and yet the scam artists are able to keep doing it from the same number yet? Sure wish I could meet them in person! It would be the last scam they ever pulled, I'd break every one of their fingers.Dear Scammer,Be aware, what goes around comes around!! One day you will pay!
They called me, a male, broken english and after I hung up he called again about 20 times in 10 min., left 2 voice messages making an attempt at swearing in english with the 'f' word. A couple of the calls returned a caller ID of 11 meaning they are out of country and the country code for 253 is Djibouti which is at the bottom of the Red Sea from Egypt on the African continent which jives with the accent.
