Student loan scam.

this is a scam and I don't bother an I report it people need to report this so this is how fbi can track these so they can stop it so report it!!!

Called my cell phone this afternoon.. Did not answer. No voice-mail. Added number to reject list.

This number is an automated call saying "you have won a cruise to the Bahamas"!

I got a call from this number, but did not answer. After reading comments thru this site, I see they were offering a free trip. Later in the day, I got a call from California, which I answered. Sure enough, a recorded message reported I had won a trip to the Bahamas! I immediately hung up. Since it was the same day, I assume these 2 numbers on opposite ends of the country are somehow related. I am registered on the Do Not Call List.

Did not answer and when I redial. No longer in use. Cruise and loan scam.

Thank u for ur comment. I am sorry for ur loss & I appreciate ur words of advice. I don't want to imagine what u r going thru. I was moved to respond to ur post, as I can somewhat relate to the pain u described & I feel that if I get a call & there is bad news, I feel as tho I will break & end up in the ER. I, too, am dealing with health issues, etc., &, unfortunately, know how drastically life can change w/ 1 phone call. Every time my phone rings, I panic. I've been getting calls from this phone # for months. They never leave a message. I appreciate 800notes b/c now I know this # is a scam & I don't have to stress when it comes up on my caller ID. Hang in there. Prayers ur way.

Just received this call on my cell phone - no message. Returned call from my landline and got the following message: THIS IS VERIZON AND NUMBER YOU HAVE REACHED HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED OR CHANGED OR IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE. How is that possible in less than 2 minutes? Sounds like a SCAM. DO NOT ANSWER.
