Agree, Patrick. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, and I'm concerned I'm being targeted for some devious reason. It's comforting to know, though, I'm not alone. Obviously, the more information anyone can share, the better, but I'd rather miss the call than subject myself to some devil, who has something to offer I don't want. Most of these unwanted calls do not leave a message.
Called. Free trip. Hung up. Called the number back. According to the message, the number is not in service. So how did they call me then?
Posting helps others to know that this is a nuisance call & not to answer these calls!!!! We like to know who is calling & this is a spam. We do not answer any call not recognized!!!!! Receiving many nuisance calls during the day and night!!!!!
I just got a call from this number. I did pick up because it showed as "cell phone" on my caller ID and the area code is local. I'm so used to speed dialing that I don't have a lot of my friends' numbers memorized. When I answered, I heard a recorded voice say, "Hello! Can you hear me okay? (I didn't respond). Great! Because as a valued customer, you qualify for...". I hung up.
This caller "congratulated' me on winning a cruise because I stayed at one of their resorts recently. I haven't had a vacation in over a year and I didn't stay at any resort. Typical spam caller and I am on the do not call list. Hope someone in real power reads this and finds the caller and loads him/her up with some reaaly nice fines and a stay at one of the Us's concrete resorts real soon.
With 31 pages of reports, I think I know enough to add the number to my blocked callers.Just reporting you got a call from a number you didn't recognize IS useful to see.Discussing opinions on the subject, however, is NOT very useful. I wonder if, in those 31 pages of comments (which I didn't read), someone revealed how they got a cell phone number that is unpublished and rarely given out to anyone but close friends and family.
They call and hang up. Most likely a robo-caller that does 4 at a time. You can't call them.
Rec'd a call on my cell and landline from this #. I answered and nobody said anything on the other end.
