Received call from this number 269-224-1688 today on my cell phone. From Battle Creek MI or surrounding area. Don't know anyone in that area.

BEWARE! THIS IS SCARY. DO NOT push option 1 to be put on do not call list. When you do this some how they get access to your phone'S address book. It happened to me and Bill collector started calling my family and friends. Don't know how they do it but they did!!!

Someone trying to sell Home Security while I was away for lunch? I even received a dubious email this morning from Paperlesspost.com. Just ignore & delete.

Just called my office. Didn't answer, left no message.

on my voice mail: Home Security recording, press 1 for offer , 2 to be removed. I did not answer or called back.

Called my cell and no one has this number, no message left.

I received a call from this number around 2:00PM. Didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it. No message. I don't know anyone in Michigan so I assume it's spam.

Got a call from this number around 2:15 PM. Did not answer. No message left. Looks like spam.

I was out for only about a half hour and returned to find these likely scammers have called. No message, even a robocall one, left. It will be blocked today.As for the alarm scammers, one of the networks did a story recently discussing some of the ploys shady alarm companies use to trick customers into signing new contracts. The story played an example of the robocall message that is often used, ad they interviewed ADT which has difficulty with these scams, with some pretending to intend to upgrade people wherein fact all they are doing is hooking them into expensive new contracts and are not affiliated with ADT. When we moved in we were besieged by idiots trying to get us into new contracts, despite the fact that we had a sign indicating our ongoing relationship with another company. I called ADT and learned that the kids soliciting our business were not with ADT.
