Get a call blocker machine--Sentry from E-Bay. They cost about $40.00 and will block 999 calls. They are guaranteed to work on any phone line or your money refunded. When they call hit the block button. From then on the phone will only ring once. You can't block them until they call. The directions are pretty clear and it works great.
Check out the Sentry call blocker from E-Bay. Guaranteed to work on any phone line. Cost about $40.00. Will block 999 numbers. Any number that doesn't show id and phone number will automatically be blocked. After you block them the phone will ring once but then they are cut off. If they call using another number just hit block caller. Works great. Have used my call blocker for 6 months. If someone calls that you want to answer just hit accept call. After the first time their call will go through just like normal. The good and bad calls have to call you first!
I too get these guys calling sometimes 2 times a day but usually 2 a week. (Just got my weekly call from 269-224-9029) I love playing with these jerks and once they know you are onto them they go nuts. I have been called everything from Mother $#^£€\ to a goat %^#{={. Invite the longer I can keep them on the line the less time this low life has to scam someone's grandma. There is another scam company that is able to show their phone number with our towns area code and first three town # so you think it's a neighbour. I make a game out of it. The longest duration had was playing one jerk was just under 60 minutes.
Thanks for sharing the info on these domestic terrorists at 269-224-9029. They should be clubbed like baby seals.
Caller ID showed "Info Survey". Good ol' Credit Card Services scammers. They change their number more than I change my underwear. As long as they've been scamming people, you would think they would have been busted by now. DON'T BE FOOLED! These people are crooks. DO NOT press a key for an operator or to "Opt-Out", this will only verify your number is a good one. Avoid them like the plague....
I pressed "1" so that I could talk to a human and get my name removed from the list. Opening line from company representative was "Do you currently have more than$2,000 in credit card debt?" I stated that I would like them to stop calling my number and remove me from their call list. "Carmen" replied: "Just because you pressed "1" and are now talking to me does not mean that I called you, have a nice day." And hung up. Will see if that will also mean no more calls ...
The card service scammers WILL 'service' our credit cards, BUT, when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!
I got a call from them I said how do you know I have a credit card he said you don't have a credit card? I said no. He then said go "f" yourself.
I have receive FOUR calls in last 2 weeks from this number. Last week, I did use the option of pressing "1" to be removed from their list... they are still calling. When I've called the number to explain to rep that I seriously NEED them to stop calling me... they hang up on me before I get two words into my sentence. By the way... I do not have a credit card.
