These "phishers" change numbers too often to keep up with. You'd think they'd figure out that people who have a brain never do business with cold-callers. If I want to talk to my credit card issuer about a lower rate, I'LL call THEM! As it is, when a call comes through from a number that I don't recognize, I just hit the reject button.
I have been getting these callas from all over the country. It did not occur to me the the apps I download is how they are getting my number, but it makes sense.
My 2nd call like this in 2 days from different numbers -- don't have a Smart phone or Droid, haven't downloaded any Apps. It has taught me to look at the incoming phone number before opening my phone to answer! I did NOT call back but checked the number in the computer. My cell number has been on the Do Not Call list for years!
These A-HOLES call my cell every day even though I have been on the National DO NOT CALL list since day one. It is some crap about "lowering your interest rate" press 1. I pressed 1 and some black bitc* said "Hello" when I told her that I am on the DO NOT CALL list and her company is violating the rules, she slammed the phone down. Does anyone know how to sue these jerks for violation FTC guidelines?
Just like everyone else has posted, this number called my cell phone today, (about an hour or so after 310-362-7319 called it.) I didn't pick up either time, and they didn't leave a message. Both my cell phone and landline phone are on the Do Not Call List. When you call this one back, it says that the voice mailbox of "Mike Anderson" is full.
The caller stated that I had no problem with my credit card but suggested me to add protection by calling them....I hung up as soon as it requested my credit card info. It smelled fishy when the caller asked for my credit card info...

just got a call from 888-431-7820. Told me I was breach of contract. Very hard to understand the lady. I dont have a contract with anyone that I know of. When I look to see the number call it tells me Claim Services.
