I have received 4 calls from this number this week. I don't even live in the U.S. and I don't have any unpaid debts.... what's scary is that they call me by my first name as if they know me. they don't identify themselves, they just say, "Hey _____, call me back at 281-647-4152".I think I'm going to be getting a credit report processed real soon and make sure nothing is amiss.Good luck people!!

This is a scam company, UFLP, allegedly operating out of Houston, Texas. They send collections from a fake lawyer, but with their letterhead, to scare people. The Texas Bar Association says there is no "John Lee Jackson" currently licensed to practice law. They call numerous times in one day and hang up. They had a Hollywood Video scam going a few years ago after the video store went bankrupt. My lawyer confirmed they're a scam. Do not give them any information if you insist on picking up your phone for numbers you don't recognize, and don't call them back. All you can do is ignore these scammers. Calling the police is worthless - they can't do a thing to scammers, neither can the FTC, FBI, or your attorney general's office.

Refuses to give info..wants me to give personal information first

Recording demanding a call back regarding some debt. Calls 5-6 times per day.

This is a 3rd party collection agency. They are contracted to collect debts from numerous different companies like t mobile, Bradford exchange, target, discover, master card and many more. All the numbers they have are numbers provided by the original company they are collecting for so a lot of times they are out of date. If you do not want them contacting you you will have to write a cease and decist letter to them and they will have to remove you other than that you can keep trying to tell them to remove the number ad a lot of times they will but the systems so out of date it just adds it right back or someone won't read previous notes and add the number again. I assure you they are completely legitimate because I worked for them years ago but some of the employees they have don't follow the training they receive. You can look up the name of the company they have a website and are accredited by the bbb.

Bothersome!

i am having the same problem. i acquired this number as a recycled number from verizon universale funding keeps calling me, i have rpeatedly told them ron davis is not the owner of this number and they will not stop. they are using up my minutes. i dont know what else to do. i have called the number back and asked to speak to the owner or the manager and they willnot put me thru to that person. it wont stop. help......

hangups, no messages

i called them back and after 5 minutes of ringing i got a live person and they asked my number then told me they were trying to collect a debt i have already paid off i told them i paid it off with the company over a year ago they tried telling me impossible i still owed i told them to hold i called the company they say i owed the money to told them about the call put it on 3 way and the lady told them she was an agent for the company and they said they didn't believe her and they wanted my information to pay off the debt the lady said we never sent her to your company for debt collection. they are a scam i still get calls from them i just don't care anymore i have reported them i have told them to stop calling via a certified letter they even call my work and i never gave that information to the original company. i still have a good standing account with the original company and now i am getting calls from 3 other debt collectors for the same thing and same amount in which i don't owe there all scams trying to get money from people who are stupid enough to do so.i was burned once like that and i wont be again.. if you call the original company and ask them who is the collection agency they will tell you,.
