I am getting very tired of all these calls, they leave recorded messages, This is a very important call pleasehold on for our next rep. and than they disconnect.
I got tired of the calls for some josh allen, I have had this verizon phone for over 6 years and they still keep calling. I finally started to answer unknown calls by saying "sheriffs dispatch", they always hang up immediately and never call back. It has pretty much stopped other than now and then, but never do they call back like they used to. Try answering with law office, sheriffs dispatch, or something like that and see if the calls dont stop immediately. It worked for me.
This number kept calling my house phone and leaving mumbled messages that we couldn't understand. I called the number back out of curiosity and the girl answered with "Universal Fidelity". I asked her if they're a bank and she said no. I said "So what kind of company are you?" She asked me if someone had called me and left a message. I didn't answer that, I repeated my question. She said "We do all sorts of things here." I said, "Sooooo, what kind of company are you?" She got hostile and said "I told you, we do all sorts of things here, and it wouldn't do you or me any good to go into any more detail!" I laughed and hung up on her. Best thing to do is get on the Do Not Call Registry AND use Google Voice whenever possible to block these calls.
annoying, call all hours of the day and night
Yes, it's a scam. These people will call OLD accounts that are no longer active and LIE to you, trying to tell you that you still owe a debt on an account when you really don't. Have no fear, your account is fine, just ignore the calls and block them if you can! These are just scammers hoping they can scare someone into sending them money.
not a clue who they are. don't leave messages. phone number lookup not helpful
It's a scam. They obtain outdated account information and try to convince people they still owe a balance on old accounts. Just ignore the calls or block them if you can.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
