The computer scam about help with your computer. some how this phone number shows up on caller ID but it can not be dialed. The last time they phoned I tracked them to a small town in Michigan. Do not think something is wrong with your computer they are going to lock up your computer and demand funds.
This caller stated that my computer has been reporting errors and that if I dont resolve them, my computer would freeze up. I have been fixing and repairing computers for 14 years and never had a problem! Sounds like a scam to me!
Received a call from "Donald Reno," who said he was with Wiz Tech and gave me 844-287-3438 as their phone number in Las Vegas, NV. That number does not match the 282-946-4286 that showed up on my caller ID. He wanted to take over my computer to check for problems with Windows. NO WAY. I will call someone when I want help with my machine. I told him I didn't have time for him; I was busy.
