Many People don't have a clue when it comes to bill collection agencies. It's possible to stop bill collectors. The statutory law says that if someone tells debt collectors to cease calling, they must cease. You may send a letter or tell them over the phone to stop calling. If the debt collection agency calls even once more, you can hire a lawyer. Show them who's got the upper hand.

Just got a message from my craigslist posting from Jen Garcia -- glad I decided to do a quick search. Something just seemed really odd about the message. We just deleted it and will not reply. Sounds like she's a busy gal. Really, some people just need to get a life and stop scamming people!!!!

I went the second step and emailed her my full name and address as well. The next day, I got the following email:Hello Andrew, This is Jen and this is my main email you can always reach me, i wanted to give you an update that i did receive the requested information for payment, You will receive the payment Thursday a.m via fedex, please do not forget to delete the post as am definitely buying this, also confirm this email received so i can know we still have a dealAwait to hear from youJenThanks to everyone who took the time to post comments aabout this scam. I got one from a katie miton saying she was away on assignment and could not be contacted via telephone because she was deaf and her deaf phone devices were away getting updated.
