Received a call from this number. Ignored call. Voice Mail was computer saying something about if I was behind on my mortgage or had an interest rate over 7%. Added number to "straight to voice mail" list.
This call is coming in on my PRIVATE CELL phone number, known only to my family. Therefore it has to be an unsolicited sales pitch. Unless you like to deal with these types of calls, DO NOT ANSWER.
It is from mortgage restructuring company. They left a message. Call received on cell phone number. Don't know how they got this number
Call Received: [Call went straight to voicemail]Caller ID: [Call went straight to voicemail]Missed Calls List: [Call went straight to voicemail]Response: The call went straight to voicemail. The voicemail said, "a stimulus package, which includes homeowner protection laws. The government is requiring that your mortgage company make your payments more affordable. Press 1 now if you are behind on your mortgage payment, have an interest rate above 7%, have an adjustable rate mortgage, or if you owe more than your home is worth. You might be a victim of predatory lending and we can help. You can benefit from the stimulus package with a loan restructure. This is not a refinance; this is not based on your credit score or your home's value. Press 1 now to speak with a live restructure specialist. Press 2 to be removed from our list. [3 seconds of silence after call ends]."Previous Calls: none.
call cell from 302-655-5049, recorded msg about president obama mortgage assist and to press 1, I did and guy says even if I did a modification 4 months ago he can get me an interest rate between 2-3%. Asked for name of company and was told Real Estate company, and I could look them up at mortgageservices.com. I asked him if he was sure or did he need to check w somebody. Seems Shady and scammers
Just got a call from this number on my cell phone in Florida, didn't answer but they left a voicemail. It was a recording for some company (not named) offering to restructure mortgages. It had the classic, "Press 1 to talk to a representative now." line in there but no other contact info. I know I don't appreciate some company from Delaware soliciting my cell phone with recorded messages to save a mortgage I don't have.
Same [***] about Obama's stimulus package. This sleazy telemarketing must work, otherwise they wouldn't do it. I wonder who is dumb enough to listen to them. I usually tell them to f&^&^ off. Sometimes I will waste as much of their time as I can (especially if I am just watching TV).
