I agree, I'm thinking of getting rid my phone altogether because of these calls. I know of several people who did just that. These phone companies are going out of business that's for sure. Maybe that's what they need for allowing these calls to annoy people.
I, too, have had many calls. The first one, was a woman who started to scream at me when I said I didn't want to answer and questions! I've called my state's Dept of Justice and they've had several complaints...they said everyone should fill out the state complaint form...then they can do legal action.Good luck!
This number calls every day, at least once a day. no one is ever on the other end. It's getting old real fast! Shows up on my phone as Georgetown De.
TO EVERYONE: FIrst, do not post using your real names. Second, nobody here can do anything about these calls except YOU. Do not tell these scam artists your name or whether or not you have diabetes or use diabetic supplies. Give them no information! Simply tell them to add you to their do not call list.If you haven't done so already, register your phone number with the government's do not call list (donotcall.gov). These foreign people are telemarketers and are making ILLEGAL calls to people whose numbers are already registered. Each time you get a harassing call, file a complaint via the do not call Web site.If the calls are excessive and/or are coming in too early or late, contact your phone service provider and ask them if there is anything they can do to block the scammer's number. If that doesn't work, contact your state's Attorney General and ask them what they can do to stop these horrible people. Good luck!
I asked that company to stop calling me. My phone number is registered with Do not call list. Although, they keep calling ,including nights and weekends.
I've been getting a lot of calls from them as well at different times of the day and night. Usually I don't answer and they don't leave a message. When I do answer, they always ask if I have diabetes and I say no, don't call me again. Today I became frustrated with the caller and told them to stop calling me--take me off their list. I did help get donations for the American Diabetes Association last year and assumed they sold them my name and phone number.
