I've been getting these calls on the weekend from 303-293-2727. They don't leave a message. I wish they would stop.
Ditto for us! Area code 253. Have had a call from this number several times a week for the last few weeks. Also registered on the Do Not Call list and there is never anyone there when I answer. Poop. Make it stop please!!!
Same. Multiple times a day, sometimes a minute or two apart. Tried quickly unhooking phone jack eah time before call goes to answering machine so it just rings with no pickup. Finally, to end the autodialer, blocked the number on my AT&T land line.
Daily calls started a few days ago. I don't pick up if I don't recognize the caller's number in advance; I figure if it's a bona fide caller they'll leave a message. These folks don't.
Yeah I have the Panasonic that has a 50 call block. It's all filled up. Also I have call block feature on my Verizon acct, but only 10 numbers max can be added (thanks Verizon! smh) 1500 number block? Not a bad investment.My home phone number is like a bad spam tainted email account. Literally 90% junk callers all day and night, few from family. I always use it for business. I just need to ditch the number and get a new one at this point, this is absurd!
Doesn't it seem strange to anyone that instead of getting less calls, those of us on the do not call list seem to get more? If our legislators really wanted to stop this stuff they could give us the ability to automatically charge anyone who calls us without permission a certain amount. If telemarketers knew the call was going to cost them they'd stop calling. It wouldn't have to be a lot of money maybe $2 per minute. Why create a no call list and then allow people to call anyway? I don't want ANY calls. Let US decide who we want to exempt and allow to call us. Why did they exempt anyone? I think until the telemarketers pay for my phone I should be the one who decides who calls me. I don't donate money to anyone over the phone and I'd like to know how they got my number. The same is true of the people calling me about FHA loans. I don't have one and I'd never refinance my home with one of these leeches. Why are they allowed to call us? Could it be that our legislators give them permission?
