The "Do Not Call List" is only effective against legal firms that have a legal footprint where they can be prosecuted. "The Caller Id" means nothing because they can type in anything they want, for any or every phone call, so there's no legal significance to it. They are so illegal they don't care about anything you have to say. They only value info they can use to access accounts with money in them. Or scare you or your relatives into sending them money. They have all the time in the world. They fear nothing. You can't threaten them, can't insult them, can't reason with them in any way. They want to engage you in any conversation they can. The more discussion, the greater the chance to understand you and your vulnerabilities, and use it against you and yours. By the way antagonizing them doesn't do much either. They just get nastier on the phone to you or the next person they talk to. If they can wrangle you up, irritate you, get your goat, it just charges them up, builds their egos, for the next go round with you or the next person. A single $1000.00 hit can, where they live, feed and motivate them and their families for months and months. They are just taking advantage of dumb, stupid, rich Americans. It's best to understand that there's no way to stop them, like a force of nature, (hunger, greed, squalor) they'll just keep coming, undaunted, unending. Don't let them "get your goat", just be the person who you are, and get on with your life. It's not just the progressives that call, it's also conservatives. I know because I get calls from both. Until we're allowed to charge them for calling us it will not stop!

For 1 1/2 years I get 2 calls a day minimum, 7 days per week from this number. They always ask to speak to William Moinaham. After telling them they have the wrong number I hang up not giving them the pleasure of selling whatever they are selling

I've been getting calls from them once a day, in the evening. I finally picked up, and it was Planned Parenthood asking for donations. (It seemed like it might have been a contract telemarketing company calling on behalf of Planned Parenthood, but I'm not totally sure.)

I've been getting calls from this number for 2-3 months, 2-4 times a day. I've never answered. I finally called them this evening and got this breezy message: "Hi, you've reached Telefund. If you've received a call from us, we were trying to contact you regarding a non-profit or political group you support. We will likely give you a call back within the next couple of days. If you'd like to be put on our internal do not call list, please leave your name and telephone number, including the area code, and we will add you to that list. It does take 24 hours and we check our voice mail daily. Thank you for your patience and for all your support. You have a great day."As suggested, I left my name and phone number on their voicemail. I'll try to remember to report back on whether the calls stop.I also called 303-293-2726, suggested by JiminMaine. The after-hours message suggests that it's Telefund's business office. The phone system recited a list of people's names, titles, and extension numbers. One of them -- don't remember who -- was listed as the Director. You might get some response by calling there and leaving a message for someone.

I keep getting telephone calls from 303-293-2727 and on my phone when the call comes in it states "telefund". In reading the comments from MANY others when I checked on line for this number - it seems they are hassling MANY others.THIS MUST STOP AND PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUIT THEM. CONTACT DENVER BUSINESS PEOPLE AND REPORT THEM.They keep calling several times a week and don't stop. I really yelled at them as I have been home sick and very sick and have not asked them to call. I imagine the call is not about anything except to see if you are a real person... I.e., if your telephone number is active. If you answer: you ARE a real person w/ a real tel. number! Then, they might sell the number to someone as a legitimate number.My strategy, for some time, has been to simply NOT answer a number I don't know; check it in a forum like this; and block it if it is from some disgusting entity, but, answer it if it is from a person or organization I want to deal with.The downside to my strategy is that if everyone did it, no one would enter comments on this site.
