Claims to work for a school. Different areas. Cop and even claims of being a telemarketing person. This person is a fruit loop and prank calling people. Bèware. She's called several others from other numbers. This is usually more of where she calls from of the number I gave. She needs tracked down and arrested. This person attacked me on the phone last week and tonight she's nice. She just needs to be in jail. If you know who this is or gotten a call. Report it to the authorities.

That's strange because she said she was calling about and appointment I made 6 months ago which i camceled she ask me personal questions. I did call my local office. They only communicate through letters plus my appointment was 7 states away from where she called. That does not make sense. I think she is a whisleblower to make money My background is information security. The IRS will only contact you by mail or if you contact them direct. She could not even bring up my file. Thank god I only have her information that not relevant. If she tries to do something they will catch her.

On 9/30/16, sent certified mail, w/a return receipt requested (i.e. the green card) to both Nina Olsen, who's the National Tax Payer Advocate, in Wash. D.C., and, to an IRS center in Cincinnati, Ohio that had sent me a Notice of Intent To Levy. Both were to have been delivered by 10/3, according to my reciept. There were irregularities within the postal system regarding the delivery of those packets. The green card from Olsen was never returned, and, on 10/12/16 tracking the letter showed only that it was dropped off at the post office, and subsequently, on 10/14, that the tracking number was "unavailable". Tracking the mail to Cincinnati showed that it was delivered on 10/9 and that the green card left there on 10/11 and was to reach me on 10/20, which it did. However, the green card from Cincinnati showed that it had actually been delivered to Covington, Kentucky, allegedly on 10/4; moreover, it was not signed nor dated, merely rubber stamped. Now, the call from 304-350-7010 came in yesterday, 10/21. The individual identified themselves, gave an employee/badge number, and left a 1-800 # to call back. He correctly, and specifically, identified the matter in the letter to Olsen, and indicated he'd be in his office Mon-Fri., 9-5. So, we'll see what's shakin' on this come Monday 10/24/16

The call is legitimate. In my case it was from an IRS agent about scheduling an audit. When the IRS calls you, they do not show the actual phone number. Instead they use this number.

Called identifying himself as an IRS attorney.

Caller's ID says "U S Govt". But really, would the "US Govt" actually call you asking for money, directly? I mean, ask yourself.A legit IRS agent would send you a letter. Not give you a call at a work place.Someone should trace the number, even if it's a spoofed number. At this point, these guys need to be caught.

An update on this number.For my case, it was an actual legit number and the person, on the other line, left a message that has nothing to do with the IRS. (Of course, legit government workers have to cover this number up. This, I understand...)However, always be on your guard when there's a spoofer spoofing this actual number. (Very sad...) If the person, on the other line, asks for money through suspicious means, then, hang up right away.
