Got a call from this number on January 21, 2020 on my cell. Supposedly from a prison in West Virginia from an inmate named “Edwin”. I know no such person nor anyone in that area. Oddly a follow up automated phone call from a known inmate calling site came in a few mins later telling me the call couldn’t be completed because I had no payment set up on my account and gave me prompts to select how to pay for my “next call” from this facility?!? Going to check that number next as I think this entire thing is a scam. Unless you have a loved one in that area who is known to be in trouble with the law or possibly in jail currently - I would urge you to refuse the call and block it as I have now done.

Call came in at 3:41P.M. on February 9, 2026. No spoken message was left. I checked the missed call box that read not in service. I checked the phone and there was a dial tone. I assumed the call was a scam.
