DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION THIS IS DONE IN ATTEMPT TO GET YOUR BANK INFORMATIONI received a call from this number claiming to be representatives from FPL. They claimed that my account was past due since October and that my power would be shut off. I spoke with a "supposedly" manager named John Andrade - that repeated what the rep said - I was late and my power would be shut off. I believe they were waiting for me to confirm my bank information , but I did not. I hung up and looked up the FPL customer service number 1-800-226-3545 and verified my account is indeed up to date.

It is an scam, the person talked in Spanish saying that the account was past due, even though it shows as an FP&L in caller ID I request complete name and batch number to verify identification, hung up and no more calls. I called the police and they confirmed that it is an scam.

Several calls saying power will be disconnected asking for miss payment called fpm in the pass and they said they will never call asking for payment. Told the person that it was a scam and he threatened to assault me in person.

This is FPL's automated number that calls you after you report an outage and updates the status.

It was an automated call from FPL after we reported an outage. It was to update us on the status of the outage.

Danilo Sanchez dijo que el era un empleado de Florida Power and Light y que en su computadora aparecíia que debíamos 2 meses y queria verificarlo. La primera vez dijimos que ibamos a ver en nuestra cuenta a travez de la computadora. Llamó de nuevo diciendo que ellos nos enviarian un cheque por esos dos meses y desafortunadamente no lo dejamos continuar por que le dijímos que nosotros no recibiamos servicio de esa empresa el tipo colgó y nosotros creímos que no volvería a llamar pero vi el ID en mi telefono que si. El se identifoco como Danilo Sanchez y dejó un numero de telefono, creo que personal No.646-7279278

This number -> (305) 442-8770 is calling asking personal questions, they are calling at first as the Electric Company, if you don't cooperate with their "BS" they start calling to slowly getting info on who lives there etc... I would say its a collection agency, but it feels a lot more like a scam. Don't tell them anything and report them if they call you, right away!
