This was an automated robocall informing me that I can now pay off my student loan. Well I don't have a student loan! I listened to the entire message and they finally gave me the option to press 5 to "decline the offer". Why '5'? Why not '2'??!!! Anyway, the response was I would not be called again for this offer and "would be removed from their list". Somehow I don't believe that. The number is now blocked.
This number just tried to call me a few minutes ago and a couple other times last week. I never answered them but after they called again today, I got kinda curious, so i had to look up the number.. and im shocked at how many people complained on numerous different websites about that same # calling just TODAY!! Everyone is saying they're IRS scammers, so with that being said, I hope everyone is going to actually report this # so we can put a stop to this...
When I get the IRS scam calls and I have time on my hands I play with them and waste their time. I give a fake name and made up address and somehow they still know I owe money. I kept one guy on the phone for almost an hour making him think I drove to CVS to buy an iTunes card for $350. He was pissed when I made fun of him for thinking he was going to scam me.
That is awesome! Made me laugh out loud and is something I'm going to plan to do when I retire!
I'm in law enforcement and I've had reports about these callers. They are remotely calling using fake numbers from NY and Florida. They are actually in the middle east, Pakistan in general.When I've called them from the police dept after complaints filed, these "guys" told me that I cant touch them, they will rape and kill our American women, they will blow up my police dept and rape my daughters and mother! I just laugh at them and told them if they are coming, them come on! Muslim scum bags people! Just block them and pray our military bombs them back into the stone age!

calls from this number to my cell phone, which I do not give out. Others have said this is a call from India claiming to be the IRS.
