Got scam call from someone saying he was from microsoft, saying my computer was about to crash. Claimed he could fix it using team viewer.

This is the 6th call I have received in as many days. Today I decided to play along. I keep the person on the line for over 20 minutes playing dumb. His English was none too good. I kept asking him where I can find the MSCHONFIG file. I stated that I couldn't find it. I took him around the mountain many time and after 2o minutes I asked him "where on a Macintosh is the MSCONFIG file?" Momentary pause followed by a "click" He as gone. Probably back to Bombay, or New Delhi. After playing him along, they may drop me off the call list.

Hot shot told me he was from Microsoft. Told him was not interested as Microsoft doesn't make calls like this. Called me a few choice names. Laughed at him and told him to go eat a roast beef sandwich.

A man of "Microsoft" with heavy Indian accent called, claiming that my computer has problem and telling me to follow his instructions to "fix" the computer. When I expressed my doubt about his identity, he sputtered foul language...

Parents rcvd call from 307-243-5143,man had very thick accent.... they had my parents last name then proceeded to tell my mother he was calling about they're computer...my mom replied saying she didn't own one and they hung up on her. Blocking this # now!

Call from 307-243-5143 to my wife. She asked to be placed on "Do Not Call List". Caller, with heavy middle eastern accent, said, "I'm from Pakistan and I am going to kill you [***]". Hung UP immediately.

Just called, I told the woman that she needed to call the people in their country and rip them off and hung up. When you call the number back (i.e., caller ID, there is no such number). Seems there should be a law against that.

they didn't want to talk to me...........i hope they do call back..........i love playing with them.

I have filed a do not call report and continue to get calls from this number. Since I have continued to get calls from this number, I have started to record the frequency of them.This is the second call I have gotten from thisnumber in the last month. I would very much appreciate your investigating it. When I tried to return the call, it said that the number did not exist.They called on my cell phone 540-521-4160.

I got the same call. When I heard the background din of phonetical sweatshop I hung up quickly. There should be a calotype of "FRAUD"
