Got call from 307-243-5143 - very heavy accent (India) He said he was tech from Microsoft. I asked his name again and told him when he could speak better English I would speak to him and I hung up. I am tired of getting these calls. Have over 150 blocked number and don't see them stopping. So much for the Government and their so called Do not call list. All it did was make the scammers more creative. Government can't do anything right.

Except give themselves raises.

Another number added to my call blocker.I thank all of you posters for the "heads up" so I don't have to deal with this number again however there will be others trying their luck to pick my pocket, its getting closer Christmas (not that matters)

Let the machine pickup and no message except for loud sound like tv station going off the air.

received a call from that number. no identification, did not recognize the number. They did not leave a message on the recorder

Called about 6:30 PM (dinner time for a lot of people) and when I answered, there was obviously someone on the line, but no one said anything. I put them on Speaker and just left the phone. They finally hung up.

I got several calls from this number, & after reading the reports here (thanks, kids!) I decided to answer one. A man with a heavy accent was obviously reading a script; he claimed his name was Susan Martin. I decided to play along, & pretended to follow all his instructions. After several minutes of tapping on my desk so it would sound like I was typing on my keyboard, Susan asked me what the message on my monitor was. I told him it said that Susan was a jerk & she was scamming me (except I wasn't so ladylike in my use of language). Then I hung up.I actually got another call this afternoon. I told "Steve" the truth; that I use Linux & haven't used Windows in years. He said he'd take my name off his list.

Just got another call from this number. I let answering machine pick up and they left no message, but I could hear someone breathing heavily before they hung up...LOL. Must be getting frustrated. I am not likely to play nice if I do answer, as my job was outsourced to India, so if they are from India, then they better never hope that I do answer the phone.....I will blow off steam.

I received the same call twice now. It is a guy with a strong accent and is a scam. He has called before and once I stated my computer was monitored by an IT professional through work he hung up. This guy was much more daring, he did not hang up when I stated I have antispyware, managed through work. He proceeded to give me a number and I stopped him and asked some questions about why he believes I have issues with Windows and how he can see it. I told him every time you call and I call back the number says it has been disconnected or all lines are busy. He then disconnected me. I wanted to see how long I could keep him on the line for taking up my time on a holiday!

Claims to be "Charter operator services." Charter says it is not. Usually a robocall hangup. CID is blank or garbage.
