Also received call from 307-243-5143 said he was Amal Parker(when I asked for name) from Microsoft Tech Support and that my computer was "calling them" saying it was infected. Even though I told him I'm on the do not call registry he kept rattling on that I should go on my computer it was in danger and he would guide me with the steps to protect it. Told him my son is a computer engineer and it was VERY safe but he kept rattling. Ton of background noise from all the other scammers making calls. I hung up and called the number back and message said number not in service.

A man with an Indian accent called me from this number and gave me the Micrsoft scam info. I asked him to take me off the list and he proceeded to get sexually vulgar and VERY descriptive. At one point he mentioned a site called uporn (youporn?), so I thought maybe that was actually where he was calling from. I now won't let my kids answer the phone for fear it's him again.
Same issue as the poster before me. I cut the man off because I work in IT and knew where this was going the minute he said he was from Microsoft Support and that my computer was "calling him." Hung up, he called back and asked why I was calling him. I told him he had called ME and that I wasn't falling for it, so nice try. He called me back twice telling me he wanted to f*** me and all sorts of other ridiculousness.
Wanted to fix my computer. I asked which one and which operating system they were inquiring about as I have five computers and five operating systems. She said any one would do. I then asked for identification number associated with Microsoft and got an immediate disconnect.
"Brad" with an Indian accent claimed to be calling from Australia and that he was Australian. Sure didn't have an Australian accent. Said he was from Microsoft Tech support and that "My computer was telling him that it was infected." He wanted my IP address. When I told him that I thought it was a scam and that "if my computer had called him then he already knew my IP address, he became very defensive and hung up.
Picked up call from this number just as I walked in the door. Said "Hello, may I help you." Caller had heavy Indian/Pakistani accent and replied "I can help you Mother F----r!" I didn't appreciate the language. Obviously call was an intended scam or prank. If you get a call from 307-243-5143, hang up at once. Don't waste your time.
