Just rec'd a pre-recorded auto-dialed (illegal) call from Tiffany @ "The National Student Loan Center." Once connected by pressing 1, I was put through to a call agent that took my name, asked if I had a student loan, an immediately hung up on me after I answered, "no."
Got a recorded call about lowering my student loans. I have none, so I assumed it might be about my children's loans, so I hi 1 to get a live person. First question was "What is your name?" I said, "You called me, so you should know it." They immediately hung up. Above posts say some contacts about student loans and some about business deals.This has got [***] written all over it. Report number to your state's Attorney General's office AND the Wyoming Attorney General's office. They all have some form of a division of consumer fraud. The only real hope of stopping this kind of thing is getting enough complaints on file.
This company is a scam which preys on the elderly!!!!! They just called me asking me to enter my social security number on the keypad!!Report them to the FTC and FCC immediately if they call you!!!The more complaints they receive against them it will increase the chance they will be investigated!!!
Got a call from this number indicating they are offering me a better rate on my student loan. This is a SCAM. I have no loan and never had any. When they answered after the automated message, I asked to be removed from their list and they hung up.

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
