Numerous calls, no message, wish they would stop but do not want to give them any personal information.
It's PETA (People for the Ethical Treament of Animals), looking for support to stop show dog animal abuse.
I received a call today and they stated that the were from Women's International.....I said I could not talk and they hung up right away. Wouldn't a reputable company ask if there is a better time to call back? Do they want donations or was this just to see id they can find legit numbers to sell?
We receive a minimum of 5 calls per day from these agents. I don't care whom they represent- I make dontations to whichever charities I choose (and there are many) and I do so by making direct contact to my favorite [animal] charities. Period. Last week I finally broke down and purchased a call blocking for landline w/DSL phone system.
The phone Says SD&A teleservice. They hang up when I answer.I called that number back and someone answered in the Coast Guard!!
Do NOT Call list ALLOWS these types of calls along with politics, all charities, religion, and I think there is another one that the DNC list makes exceptions for!!! NEEDS TO BE CHANGED....DNC list means.....DO NOT CALL!!!!!! I don't care who you are with or what it is for!
Didn't care enough to leave a message so I don't care enough about them either. Am guessing like other posts they are money collectors. Callback message says to leave your number if you don't want to be bothered. I told them just to remove everyone on the do not call list and make everyone happy.

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
