the Nat'l Do-Not-Call list does not cover the charities. It DOES cover commercial For-profit fundraisers; the reputable ones may also themselves have a company do-not call list.That won't keep them from selling their lists every year or so though. They ARE for-profits!

This guy said he was representing Greenpeace and wanted a donation. I know you can contribute through emails and he said they were trying to cut costs by not sending through regular mail. I told him I wouldn't do any donations over the phone.

But never overstate your case, makes your argument LESS valid.The best course of action when a charities telemarketer calls: 1) Say: no thank you, and ... 2) Immediately call the charity and give them $ directly.

Repeated calls to my cell phone. Added to ignore list on on phone and Google Voice. If you call the number you get a voicemail saying they are a service that makes calls for non-profits.

I too have received several calls & never answer. By mistake one day I picked up the phone. A female asked if she could speak to (my name). I replied loudly: NO & hung up. Let's see if I continue to receive calls.

Leaved no message so not sure who they were calling on behalf. Return phone number indicates it was SD&A

On previous calls, caller ID read "UNKNOWN" or "OUT OF AREA" or "SD&A TELESERV". THIS TIME, instead of words, the CID read 0113106932915, with the number 310-693-2915 below. 011 is the International code to dial the United States. 31 is the code for the Netherlands. I'm not sure WHAT it is, but I AM SURE that I won't be answering their calls any time soon!

Usually do not answer but I wanted to see if I could be removed from their database. No one picked up. These people are pests that need to exterminated!
