They just hang up.. it's like waves that I get off these strange spam or spyware calls. I went get any for months, and then I get flooded with calls. So no one says anything and just hangs up, like in the previous comment. When I tried to call back to see if it was a legitimate call, it said "the number or code you've dialed is incorrect." Hope I didn't compromise anything by answering.

I received a call from this number stating they are from Microsoft and my computer is being used all over the world. I told her that I have anti-virus software & she said I see your concern. She told me to go to my computer so she could help me. I asked for a number to call her back she asked why if I was already talking to her. She then got an attitude with me so I hung up. It sounded as if she was calling from India
I actually answered the call and he said he was from Microsoft then when I wouldn't give him any information he started to yell at me for not caring about my security. All in an accent. Then he really started yelling when I told him I knew it was a scam and I said I was going to report him. I hung up because I have better things to do

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.

Evidently gets next if kin names from obituaries and calls them all, over and over. Will not say what they are calling about until you give birthdate and ssn of the deceased.
