They keep calling

here's the scam---they claim to be from microsoft security, they will tell you that your computer has been infected, and try to get you to enter a command which will give them control of your computer, then they will try to get you to pay them ransom to restore access to your computer

I just got a call from this number to my home number, addressed me by my first name and this person said her name is Christina (sounded completely like an indian) and she is from Baltimore and from Microsoft. She said I cant use my windows computers at home anymore because my license expired or something I could not make out. I knew right away this was a scam, I am an IT guy myself, I told her I dont have any windows computers at home and she simply hung up. I called back the number and it says I cant call that line. I hope the feds or someone get these idiots soon dont know what they are actually scamming.

Got the same call from a guy with Indian accent claiming to work for Microsoft.

My pc license is going to be shut down. Foreign accent man. When I asked for someone who speaks better English he hung up

These people call and hang up.. sometimes just sit there... and sometimes its a EDU about Grants... This is NOT a valid area code...!!! Beware!!!
