I'm close to Toronto, ON. Just got this call on my cell while at work. I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. I looked it up on reverse phone search and it said it was coming from Detroit, MI. ANNOYING!

Hi I called my cell phone provider to see what could be done, knowing they can't block calls on cell phones but he told me about a couple of good free call blocker apps on play store which is the google/android app store. I downloaded one called "Call Blocker" I have had about 8 of these calls now from washington etc. and I just go to the app and it asks if you want to block something from call log then you tick the number you want blocking and nothing will get through from that number again. You can get the premium version but that you pay for. but this works well. and it covers texts which I have had one of. but hope this helps ppl.

I have never done an add on craigs list. I hate this You can't have any privacy anymore Grrrrr
The CRTC can't do anything. The calls are from the USA and the CRTC doesn't have any jurisdiction there. Just don't answer the calls for which you don't recognize the number.Have had 6 calls in the last week from different US numbers, here in Montreal.
