Hi, No one sells you out. I used to work at a call center as a student. I did surveys and did not sell anything. I can tell you that numbers are always generated by a computer than calls. If someone picks up than it goes to an agent. It is much faster and easier for a computer to do this and they can go through thousands of numbers in a day. So it does not matter where you are or if it is a land line, fax or mobile number...
It looks as though most ppl getting this call including myself are mostly in Canada. I too am In canada and got a call from this number this afternoon but I didnt even know it till later. I have heard a rumor that cell phone numbers are also going to be available to the telemarketers shortly as many ppl have given up having a home phone as they use their cell for everything. Just a little info.

Comes up in my phone as a medical clinic, but when I called them they're some business that supposedly works with Medicare? I'm too young for medicare. Scam call.
Sounds like a potential call center scam.
Said they were from Bank of America calling me about a fraud alert on my account. When I told them I do not have an account with B o A - they hung up on me. Ironic!
They said it's a business call from northern light. Not real and clearly spam. Northern light must have its phone numbers data leaked.
Called today and left no message. No caller ID, so I did not pick up the call.
