*69 will do the trick I did that blocks them

this is the third time that they have contacted me. How do I stop them?.

Called left no message. In approximately 24 hours, I have received no less than 20 calls from unknown numbers. Here's what ticks me off: The government and phone companies say that these scammer use spoofed numbers, new numbers, etc. But this number has reports on this site that are at least one year old. Why can't they shut this down?

you state you know who they are, yet i doubt you reported them for there illegal activities.

I missed a call from this number, and when I called back, a man said he was from some auto insurance group. When I politely informed him that my number was listed on the National Do Not Call registry, he said "F*** Off" and hung up on me.

I received a call from this number, Steve and he said he was calling about my car insurance then hung up when I asked what car insurance. I tried to call that number 3 times to find out what car insurance he was talking about and he hung up on me each time. My phone is also registered on the "DO NOT CALL" LIST. This time of call is not appreciated and to me is a fraudulent phone call. Please stop these calls from 313-989-0088 and all other bogus phone numbers.

I believe this number is also used by the people who call from (619) 383-1846. Don't answer ever. The first call there isn't anyone there. But once you answer that call, they keep calling. If you don't answer, they start calling from this number as soon as the first call goes to voicemail.

I received a call from him this morning at 8 AM!!!! He said he was some auto insurance verifier. he said he wanted to verify the state in which I live. I told him if you already have that info then why are you calling me at 8 o'clock in the MORNING!? This is ridiculous and completely unnecessary. he tried to talk more, but i just hung up on him. Good thing!

Called my cell. Did not answer as I did not recognize the number. No message left.

Didn't recognize number, so I didn't answer. No message left. If it was legitimate they would leave a message, so I suspect scammer. Also received an unusual phone call from a NJ area code (201) earlier in the day. Didn't answer that one either, but maybe related?
