Picked up call, knew it was a scam but wanted to see what an operator had to say in regards to the DNC list. When I asked him for details about the company name, he told me to "shut the f**** up," and when I said "excuse me?" he started mocking me. "Excuse me? Excuse me? Excuse me? Excuse me?"
Received call from 313-995-0078 with the caller ID of Jennifer Cloutier from the state of Michigan. I didn't recognize the name so I let it go to voice mail - no entry from caller. This presents a typical MO of a SCAM.
Answered and asked them what credit card they were calling about bc i don't have one and he responded with f*ck you. I said excuse me and he said f*ck you again.
These Government SOBs call daily. I do not answer and no message left. There time is soon upPrepareforchange.net
I picked up and got the following recorded message "I'm sorry, that is not a valid extension .Please try again"
Just got an automated call from "consumer services" press 1 to connect to a rep about your credit cards and lower your interest rate, it's the last day for eligibility. Connected with a man with an accent who said this is for a bunch of banks. They work with visa/MasterCard and I'm such a good credit holder that they can lower my interest rate because I'm paying over 5%. UHM DUH. Any unsecured line of credit will have at LEAST a 5% apr. Then he said that I received a letter 90 days ago but didn't respond. I said I received no letter and asked what address he had and he hung up on me.
Total scam!Automated system indicated that the call is from my credit card company and to press 1 for an adviser. Pressed 1 to see how far these guys go, at which point operator indicated that they work with all credit card companies including mine to help reduce interest. I asked him which credit card he is talking about since this number is not listed with any as far as I know, at which point he hung up...
