I had gotten a call from this number Identified as Missouri. They left no message on the answering machine.
My call said it was from Edward Jones, a company I do business with. I thought it strange calling at 8pm. they wanted to know if anyone in my family worked for a banking business and who in the household pays the bills. Strange questions. I said no to everything. Now I see it isn't Edward Jones. Isn't that against the law to misrepresent yourself like that? I called back and eventually got a recording that said it was marketing research.
I'm startled to see so many messages here over such a long time period! I am reporting to DNC but it seems futile.
Just answer the phone and then put it down and let them talk. If am in the right mood I will put it on speaker and just listen to how long they continue before they realize no one is there.
I receive this call a few minutes ago and just i say hello hang up, i dont know whos calling me cause i dont know anyone from that number and i check and the call was from misouri
Have received calls from this number showing Market Probe as company calling.. Never leaves a vm, I just don't pick up. Our home phone number is a new number and this is the FIRST unsolicited call we have received since getting the new phone number for months. Another post stated it was from AARP list being given to the company calling. I have no idea.
Wanted to do a survey on companies located in the southeast. She did not offer me any money or ask any personal questions. I am also on a do not call list but took the survey anyway since they caught me in a good mood.This was the first time I have gotten a call from this number.
