This is an AT&T voicemail backdoor number for upstate New York. Basically... your phone calls this number to check your voicemail if you have an AT&T cell phone in upstate NY. It is not one specific person.

It is not one specific person." You're right. i know you're right. Now i need to find out if my cellphone company is charging me "long distance" just to check my own voicemail.

A lot of background noise and the person says her name is Josie Brown and that it shows she missed a call from me. She wants me to call back but left no number to do so. No idea who this person is at all.

Says 'happy birthday robert' , then background noise sounds like news or a tv talk show.

I agree mostly with the info. But here is the real reason you get this call It calls you and asks for your cell phone number then password for your voice mail. My daughter called me and marked the call urgent/ emergency and "page this person" so it kept calling me until I checked my voice mail.This is not to say someone is not using your phone number for harrassment. But personally I don't mind if there is an emergency.

Its the American Red Cross calling to get blood or monetary donations.

this number called 3 days in a row finally left voicemail. called my voicemail it was a little girls with noise in the background.

Keep getting this person calling and he leaves a voicemail but never identifies himself and or says what he wants.
