received a call from this number on my cell,i let it go to voice mail, someone speaking in spanish left a voicemail,i have fixed my phone so if they call again they will automatically go to my voise mail.i dont know anyone in jail nor do i speak spanish
It *is* a scam when people are receiving calls from prisoners dialing random numbers especially when City Tele Coin fails to include blocking instructions with their robocalls.
I would like to advise anyone on here that if you do use TeleCoin prepaid service make sure your loved one is going to be incarcerated long enough for your monies to be used, because if they are released and you want a refund, you are not going to get all of what's left in your account. I had 20.00 left in mine and when I called for refund, I was informed I would receive $4.75 after all fees were deducted for handling the refund!! Now that's highway robbery!! The Better Business Bureau has been called, that is just WRONG!!!
got the phone call again today speaking spanish i called the 1800 682 0707 and had them block my number.they blocked it with no problems.i would recommend doing that
I received a call from this number 10/09/010, and have received them before but I never answer -- they will hang up after 8 or 9 rings.
You must work for this pack of thieves. It's amazing that you people can find a way to justify your actions. You participate in a legal form of highway robbery. If these people weren't in prison there would be no way that you would be allowed to charge these exorbitant prices but I guess that's how you justify your actions: "Oh, these people are nothing but criminals so it's alright to steal from them and their families". I guess it's true what they say about prisons being big business. Lots of people getting rich, right? Well, just so you know, I'm not a criminal. I've never been in jail. I pay my taxes. I also pay my bills. I, also, have a loved one who happens to be incarcerated. He doesn't have to pay for the phone calls. He can't pay for them because he has no money. I pay for them. And I think you people are a bunch of crooks. So, I hope you rest easy at night. I'm sure you do. Instead of counting sheep to help you sleep, I'm sure you count dollar bills. Remember one thing though, we will all stand before God one day. I hope you have a good explanation for why you decided to get rich off of someone else's misery.
I have received a couple of calls from this number. It is the phone company that Sheriffs dept's use for inmates to make calls.
I agree with fed up. My child is in a jail and when you buy the card 7.50 goes to the phone company. I also tracked my calls with a stopwatch and according to the telecoin operator I have already used up my time and must purchase another card. I had used it according to the rule of 5 minute increments. I only messed up once and talked 10 minutes and 6 seconds but was charged 15 minutes. My advice is to time each call and end it 30 seconds before the 5 minute interval. I guess my question would be when does the telecoin system start the timer? When the phone connects or after your press one?
