Called me too; "Out of Area" on the caller ID, so it's likely a scumbag of one type or another. Blocked!
Just caalled, but my answering machine message for some reason causes them to disconnect! Briefly, it says for the caller to leave his or her name and home phone number so I can harrass them like they seem to think I deserve.
I never answer the phone unless I know who is calling. This number showed up on my cell phone caller ID at 1039 hours CST on 09 August 2012 and left no message. When I called the number back at 1448 hours CST, I received a recorded message stating, "The number you have reached is no long in service."
Have had four calls over the past month, afternoons or evening hangs up wo leaving message on Ans. Machine.

Got a letter that said I applied for an AMAZON card. Called the number to inquire what this was for, they started asking for personal information. When I said no they hung up on me.

Scam debit collector. I say 'scam' because I don't have a credit card, loan, lease, tuition, or debit or any kind. I own my home, vehicle, and everything in them. There's not a single reason for a debit collector to be calling me.
