I just noticed, by reading earlier feedback, that this number has been bugging people for years with all sorts of scams. Well, it is July 16, 2019 and it is still a working scam number. Just called me, I answered to find no one there. They will be back, I will find out which scam and report it and then block them! I don't know how they missed me all these years. How I wish we could go thru a day without a single call!
I get these all the time, never answer. Just keep forgetting toad them to my do not call list.I live in MN and I know that in the town of Glencoe is a coupon and rebate clearinghouse. Perhaps it is something else they do.
Is there nothing the FCC can do to stop these harassing phone calls? This goes beyond irritation, especially when you have elderly people in the home and their lives are disrupted by these unwanted, harassing calls. If I could find a physical address that went along with this number, I would ask local law enforcement to intervene. Any suggestions on what to do?!
This is one of the many "robo call" numbers used by politicians and fund raisers. It is actually the latest in software but still does not keep up with the speed of a human answering a phone. The way it works is that the robo dialer calls until it hears a "hello" (it won't complete the call to a machine although it will show up on a caller id). As soon as YOU (the live person) say "hello" it transfers you to the next available robo call volunteer who has hung up from talking to his last connection. If that volunteer is put on another call a split second before your call reaches him, it rotates to the next open volunteer and so on. The problem is that there is often a two or three second delay for all the electronic switching to match your "hello" up with a live volunteer who can speak to you immediately. In most cases, these people are volunteers who believe in the cause they are volunteering to help. They are very seldom paid fundraisers. Be kind to them. While you might think they are intruding in your life, remember that most of them are giving up their free time to champion a cause in which they believe. Actually, in the case of political parties and candidates, the information you give them might HELP delete you from future calling lists or keep you on lists for notifications about votes you want to actively support with your elected officials.
Called without leaving a message. From another site I learned that you could be removed from their caller list. I did call back and the recorded message stated that they made calls for political, non profit and other organizations. It did allow me to have my number removed from their list.
I do not know who these people are but they have started calling my home number and won't leave a message. I am tired of them calling and would really liked it stop! How do you stop them?
Yeah, like everyone else....number calls me every day, never leaves message, I never pick up.That being said....what is the point of this website? No matter which number I enter, I get a page of the same [***] ("didn't answer, left no message, calls me frequently"). So besides "venting", what is the point of this website? And there are so many similar sites out there, which serve the same lack of purpose.
