I also received a recording but they called my job. Said something about court and restraining order. My daughter is a lawyer so I had her check it out. She says it's most likely a scam not to give any personal information My concern is how did they get my name and work number
I got the same call. When I called back a guy named James began to scream at me. He called by cell, not my work, but threatened he was going to subpoena me at work for fraud. He had my wrong address- thank goodness. When I began to ask him questions- he got super hostile and screamed- I will see you in court! Remember the name James jones....very scary.
This company called my cell number. Sadly they have a ton of info & want you to settle this "debt" that could be from hundreds of various companies & can't tell you who the original creditor is. The say that you will be charged with fraud & then start asking how you can just be a low life not pay your bills. They treaten your employer, your family & friends with harm if you do not pay the bill.
Same message. Funny story different company- I answered the phone and asked for my name to be removed from the list. They told me I HAD to send $50 via moneypak (non traceable) to be removed. I eventually did call FTC to file a complaint. They never called again.
That is the same thing i got called me and leave me message that they will give me a restrain order and i have 4 hours to call and then when i call back there message box is full. I even left my return number to give me a call. Even say that they want to contact my employee for something....I wonder who it is cause it gave me a bad day today
The carrier is Verizon Wireless. They left a message on my voicemail and I was given the option to respond to the message and only Verizon to Verizon callers have access to that feature.

Left voice mail with sound like a horn.
This caller claimed to be a rep from Intuit/QuickBooks & we needed to renew our Subscription for $1899.99. After asking a few questions things sounded strange. Asked her for our PIN # & she did not give the correct number.
Call came in. Hello, hello. No response. Disconnected. Suspect possibly WELLS Fargo (WF) , but no actual idea. Don't trust one moment.
There are 2 other numbers that are from this same number - 1-800-457-4708 and
1-302-927-3338.
They say they are calling for Clear Springs RX and has family name has health record.
