I had 4 hours to respond or there will be a restraining order against me and that they were going to contact my employer to garnish my wages.
I just got a call that I have tried to return 5 times. It said that I have 4 hours to return the call. The mailbox is full & I left 5 call back number messages. Still nothing. They mentioned that I may have to appear in court. My wages may be garnished. a restraining order and some other stuff.
I've been getting these calls for a year and not sure how they got my number but all of your posts are very helpful. The last call I told them I submitted the number to the authorities and the idiots haven't called back but they call on different numbers and are not very bright they answer the phone I'm attorney general Lawson...I kid you not they are not bright.
One way they are getting names and numbers is from the internet! If your job is in sales you would place ad for people to contact you at home#, work# and/or cell# leaving your name also. And bingo they do the work and have all your information and can contact you at all three locations! So be careful about what you post on the WEB. Hope this helps! :)
Thank you all so much for the information. They had me scared also, and banging my brains about who I might owe this kind of money to--came up with nothing, so I googled the number and got here. Feel much better. They called on my cell phone. Still concerned they may find my work number and call me there! But, thanks to your posts I feel much relief--aside from being contacted at work--glad to know I am not being sued or going to jail.
I received the same call yesterday on my cell. Stating that I have 4 hours to respond and if not I may have to appear in court and they will contact my employer to garnish wages. I was very worried until I googled the number and saw all these very helpful posts. I will not give it another thought now. Thanks so much!!
Received calls from this number on my work phone! Don't know how they got it. Something needs to bedone about these kinds of calls. Am not going to respond!

Left voice mail with sound like a horn.
This caller claimed to be a rep from Intuit/QuickBooks & we needed to renew our Subscription for $1899.99. After asking a few questions things sounded strange. Asked her for our PIN # & she did not give the correct number.
Call came in. Hello, hello. No response. Disconnected. Suspect possibly WELLS Fargo (WF) , but no actual idea. Don't trust one moment.
