They called me and said I have to pay them or they are taking me to court and I have until the end of the day. I asked for their website and they said it was lrfhelp.com which I looked up and it does not exist. The company name they gave me was IRS Equity. I was also given anothr number which is 216-485-3691. Not sure what to do now.
Similar to other posts. Caller requests i contact him within 4 hours to prevent calls to my employer. States that I have been named as a litigant in a court action and a personal protection order has been issued against me. Caller called both my direct work number and my cell number today. Caller id exposed a non-working number 213-337-0014. Caller left a return call number of 330-205-7460.
I got the same msg today. I have called the Treasury Inspector General from the IRS. This BS needs to stop. The people behind these scams need to be brought to justice...
I got this call today and didn't answer, since they called from a blocked number, when I listened to the voicemail it seemed fishy to me, glad I googled the number and found this site. I'm relieved to know that it's a stupid scam, I was wondering how I would have someone issue a restraining order against me for a supposed debt, no wonder old people get scammed from a$$holes like this that use legal intimidation.

This number Called me and Stated that I had 4 hours to call them, I see I am not the only one that got the call, but Damn they scared me... They really need to get this number to stop calling people. I have enough to worry about.
Just got the same call-4 hours to return their call or else. Well guess what MF's, I am not scared of you and not calling back because I don't have anything out there that I need to be afraid of. I will just ignore the recorded calls and not return them
Call-left voicemail that and said I have 4hours to call them back or they will put a restraining order against me and to have my lawyer contact them. And something about garnishing my wages and contacting my employer.

Left voice mail with sound like a horn.
This caller claimed to be a rep from Intuit/QuickBooks & we needed to renew our Subscription for $1899.99. After asking a few questions things sounded strange. Asked her for our PIN # & she did not give the correct number.
Call came in. Hello, hello. No response. Disconnected. Suspect possibly WELLS Fargo (WF) , but no actual idea. Don't trust one moment.
There are 2 other numbers that are from this same number - 1-800-457-4708 and
1-302-927-3338.
They say they are calling for Clear Springs RX and has family name has health record.
