I haven't heard from these guys in a while, but it is the same script as the other scammers operating out of India. Today it was a recorded message on my machine, after getting home from work, saying I, or my attorney, had just four hours to call back or they will get in touch with my employer to have my pay garnished. No names were given, whether individual or organization. The phone number will be good enough, along with the other information, for me to file another complaint with the FTC about these scammers.

My favorite part of this scam is the "restraining order". If they WANT you to call them, why would they put a restraining order on you? That is to keep you AWAY. Love how these 3rd world criminals throw out legal phrases from old episodes of "Law & Order". I guess it plays late night in India on Sky-tv.

They are a scam!!! I have been ripped off over a $1000 trying to settle something I knew I had to pay but gave my money to these A-Holes!!! Beware if you get any of these calls threatening to sue or in this case a restraining order or garnishing of wages ask for everything in writing and when they cannot provide that you've caught them. Also if you get any more information regarding names, email addresses what have you report it to FTC immediately. Every single time I have had this happen I immediately report it to FTC. And Yes a lot of these people are outside the country committing these crimes its a shame. Its horrible that people have the stomach to rip people off who work hard for their money.

got a message for me to call and if i don't they were going to call my employer to verify my employment and garnish my wages. why do they need a restraining order against me. i don't plan on hurting anyone.

i received a voicemail on my work phone - saying I had 4 hours to respond...restraining order and employer would be contacted. not sure how they received my work number or who this could be - must be a scam!

I do so receive this same phone call leaving the exactly same message as quoted above. It seems that those Indian accent speaking countries are trying to fool the Americans.
