This foreigner Kevin Green (more like Raji Patel) is looking for my wife.He is from the US Treasury, etc.HOW COME A WHITE or BLACK PERSON DOESN'T CALL?All these scam calls sound like they come from India or Pakistan.

Received a call from a "Kevin Green," which was a healvily (Indian?) accented man. Claimed to be from the legal affairs department of the US Treasury. The number he gave for me to call him back was a NY area (cell) number: 347-408-0386. Claims I have a File to be sued by the Gov. Its a scam.

got a call from "officer Stephen smith" I called him back with some very choice words and then he got very vulgar with me. These people need to be in prison.

I received exactly the same message as TK at about 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7.

Maybe we should each call him back and say he has finally reached the legal number of victims of fraud and we have filed a class action law suit against him and he might want to retain legal counsel.

I just received a call from this number. A guy with a very heavy accent claiming to be "John Baker" and wanting to talk with my wife (calling her by her maiden name) regarding a legal matter brought against her by the US Treasury. I pushed for more information and he said he needed her to call him back. He then started spewing our old address. I looked it up on the Treasury.gov website and it's a scam. Beware :)

Got call from this number with a voicemail telling my husband to call them back as they represented the Dept of Legal Affairs. Upon calling back, the person asked if I got the official letter from IRS. Answered no and then was told that it can be read to me after I asked for it to be sent. Was then threatened that IRS agents would show up at work to arrest us. I laughed and told him then I'll just have to call the police. I did not get any response that could be deemed intelligent.

Must be the same guy who told me he was from Dept of Legal Affairs. These people are trash and should be arrested.

I just received a message to call this number back, heavy accented guy saying his name is Ken or Kevin Green from Fontenell (sp) legal affairs. Says to call back or could result in a legal mess for us... really professional..LOL Reverse lookup says this phone number is in Bronx vicinity, New York , but the number that they called from is 417-987-0782, which is in Springfield Missouri. I'd say it's a scam.... I'm not calling back, that's for sure

After listening very closely 5 times, I guess he might be saying Department of legal Affairs.
