continous calls, no message

Called me this morning while I was sleeping, so I clicked the phone on and off.

Has called probably 4 times in the last 10 days or so. Answered once and no one was on the other end, so I no longer answer.

My phone number is on the "do not call list" I have been receiving calls from 1-386-538-7500. They do not leave a message. I googled the number and it brought me here. I do not want this company calling me any more.Thnaks.

Evergreen Marketing called on behalf of Brighthouse cable. They are offering every digital cable subscriber free HBO (10 channels). All I have to do is stay subscribed to digital cable. So I ask what is the catch. The operator says there isn't one. I ask what do I have to pay if I cancel my digital cable. She says nothing. I say so why is Brighthouse offering existing digital cable subscribers free HBO. She says because there is so much competition out there. So then I ask what does EMU (on my caller id) stand for. She says Evergreen Marketing. I say that I will contact Brighthouse directly. She understands that I am skeptical and thanks me for my time.LOL - She never would tell me the catch or how her company is getting paid for the solicitation. She insisted there isn't one. All I can say is yeah right.

They call constantly in the above mentioned pattern - let it ring twice then hang up and call back. It shows "ESM" on the caller ID. Reporting for do not call registry (not that it will do any good), and setting up my computer to call them a few thousand times and hang up.

Repeated calls; never leave a message.

They called at 9 PM at night EST.

Keep getting calls from this number. Thought it might have been my daughters birthmother but obviously not. Thanks for the information!

This number calls twice a day. Rings twice, they hang up and then they call back. I do not answer it, and they do not leave a message on my answering machine.
