Just got a call from them a few minutes ago. I decided to press 1 and talk to someone. I asked for their # so I can call them and they said they're a transfer station and can't make outgoing call. Then he wants to know my vin # and I told him I have ten cars (a little fib, but I do own 8). He says, "You own TEN CARS? Give me one of the VIN #" I asked him "which one are you calling about?" He doesn't care.. Then I told him I'm giving him private info. At least give me your business name if you can't give me your number. He hung up on me.Call everyone and waste their time. They can't afford to lose time... [***] with 'em.
Also, tell them you'll give them whatever info they want if they get the following correct:* your warranty company* the vin # of your car* the person they're supposidly contactingAnd ask them to provide a phone number and name of company. That should be fun.
I just got a call from that number. When I picked up, I heard nothing on the other end and then the other party hung up.
It's another one of those "your warrenty is abou to expire"I ALWAYS connect to the operator, ask them if their office has a window (and depending on my mood) when the answer comes back yes tell them to either jump out of the window or throw their phones out of the window.
