same thing here diane from pa, my name is diane also but from tn and they are looking for a person that used to have this number , i keep telling the morons they have the wrong number but they keep using my cell phone minutes and i'm sick of it. I really don't want to keep my cell phone on restricted but thinking about it. diane. tn
Have received several calls from this number. They never leave a message. I never answer b/c I don't recognize the number. When you do a callback, it's Chase Bank. I just sent them a check for $300 and my account was only one week overdue. Why must they harass like this? Everyone is struggling in this economy. I work nights and now I must turn off the ringer on my phone when I am sleeping in the daytime.
actually bill collectors do not leave messages as a technique to collect on debts; There is certain guidelines a collecter must abide by. This varies though depending if the collector is a 3rd party or first party collection agency. A first party collections agency is the party you financed your vehicle through home or even have a credit card with. A 3rd party is someone that collects on your bad debt after your account charges off when the bank sells your debt to someone else who then takes control of your account. Once your account charges off and is sold to this 3rd party expect to get some serious threats and even up to going through litigation or even arbitration by not paying back your debt. Collectors do have boundries check the FDCPA (Fair Debt collection practice acts) this is used to prevent harassment when your account falls past due. If the company is a first party collections agency expect calls all the time as for first party collection agencies have really no boundries when collecting a debt. This evidence is solid because i am a collector not from this company nor will i reveal who i'm through but i have been in this business and with how bad the economy is doing this is probably the best and most job secured profession with how bad the economy is.
@info anonymous Thanks for letting everyone know how a paid [***] operates, I hope you get you ear blown off by one of those threat whistles, the rest of your body goes limp and forever sags with gravity until the maggots eat you flesh (in the not too distant future).
402-220-4351 Im now getting upwards of eight calls a day. I accidentally answered one call yesterday and it immediately hooked me into an automated response saying "wait for an important call." At that point it started ringing again (presumably connecting me to an agent)--I hung up. This is the third number I have i.d.'d on my phone from CHASE.
here's my question. if they jack your interest rate up to the worst possible rate if you're one day late on any payment, what motivation do i have to make any other payments on time? i dont have the money right now, and they cant screw me any worse, so i'll just pay my other bills and deal with this when i can. luckily my phone has a reject calls list, so i wont be bothered by this again.
When I got the second call this morning, I called Chase and reported that somebody else might be using my phone number for some overdue payment from chase credit cards. I hoped Chase would take it seriously and handle it accordingly. But responses from Chase were " we can't do anything", "aren't able to track this phone number", can't do this and that..etc. There are so many complaints regarding to this 402-220-4351 that Chase should do something for its customers to feel secured with them...
