They called my husband's cell phone while he was at work. He didn't answer, and there was no message left. Our land line and our cell phones are all on the DNC list. Fat lot of good that does!
On Monday September 24, 2012 received 4 calls from the telephone number 800-816-3521.First call received at 11:03 am.Second call received at 1:06 pm.Third call received at 3:14 pmAt 5:30pm I called 800-816-3521 and found out that it was a political survey group and placed myself on their internal do not call list. The recording stated it would take 3 business days in order for the calls to stop.Fourth call received at 5:37 pm. Actually talked to the guy giving the survey. Explained that I had JUST put myself on the DNC list and he was very polite. He appologized, and stated he would add my number to the list immediately... No 3 day wait.Today, Tuesday September 25, 2012 I have not received a single called from 800-816-3521.Instead the calls are coming from 402-718-8836. Same survey group, different phone number.First call received at 2:12 pm ...

I got a call (actually 2) from 402-718-8836, no mssg, etc but I called the number back and it said they were the msr group or something like that - the message volume went in and out (on purpose?) - but the part that I *DID* hear said they were a survey/research group and their calls were allowed under the DNC guidelines, but that I could leave my number to be removed from THEIR list. So, at least according to THEM, they are legit, but I would think any LEGIT company would look at the DNC *anyway* to make sure they got people who would want to participate.
Left message. first time. Called a second time, no message or anyone to speak with, just silence.
