Oct. 17, 2012At 6:45 pm pacific time a man called from 402-718-8836 and asked if anyone in our home went to the bank that we go to in the last few days. I said no. He said that he was doing a survey of that branch. Are you from our branch? No, we are a 3rd party. I just got off the phone with my bank and it was not from my bank at all I was told. I did not take this survey. I felt something very wrong with this phone call and I was right.

the 402-718-8836 is the BBVA Compass Bank doing a survey.

Called twice today from different #s. 402-718-8838 and 402-718-8836. I did not answer because I did not recognize the # or area code. No message left by them either time.

they don't have to look at the DNC list because they are not technically making unsolicited calls. MSR Group is hired by companies to call those companies' clients and get information about customer satisfaction. they're a big, legit company used by a lot of banks and other big businesses. i've received calls from them to follow up after opening a new account at a bank, after placing an order with a big online company, and after calling another bank's customer service line with a question about my account. unfortunately, MSR isn't going to stop as long as the companies all of us do business with stop giving out our phone numbers and paying them to conduct surveys.

called today, did not answer because I did not recognize the number, no msg was left. I did went to my bank's branch yesterday, so maybe it is what other people are saying--> a satisfaction survey.

This is a company called MSR Group. They are market researchers. 402-718-8836. Never answer the phone from an unknown source.
